In the Steamboat’s final game of the regular season, the Sailors will take on the Moffat County Bulldogs at Moffat County High School at 4pm Thursday. The Sailors are hoping to sure up a chance at the playoffs with a win over the Bulldogs. With a win, the Sailors can tie Battle Mountain with a 9-5-1 record, but they are not looking past the Bulldogs. The game for the Sailors will be just like a playoff game. Without a win today, the Sailors will not have a chance at the playoffs.

The Sailors have already clinched 3rd place in the Western Slope League with a 7-4-1 League record after an overtime loss on Tuesday at Eagle Valley.
State Playoff seeding will be determined Sunday and usually come out around 1pm. The Sailors may get an at large bid as they are ranked 25th in the State as of 10/15/2014. We will announce if we have made the playoff on our Website, Twitter and Facebook as soon as we get word.
