The Steamboat Soccer Club is offering a
Soccer Referee Certification Course
right here in Steamboat!
The course will be held Saturday, March 21st, 2015.
This is an entry level referee course intended for new referees as well as referees who have allowed their certification to expire. Applicants must be at least 12 years old at the time of registration. The course consists of a one day, 8 hour, classroom session and practical application.
Certified referees are paid, based on the age of the game ref‘d and Steamboat Soccer Club will also reimburse any new Adult referees for their certification fee as long as they fulfill the requirement of at least 5 games within the year. In addition, certified referees can also work off their Volunteer Deposit hours with SSC by refereeing as well.

An $80 Prepayment is required and if you cancel a full refund will not be given. (Refund Details) You MUST complete the online portion first, and pass the test with a 75% before attending the face to face class. This must be done prior. There are no exceptions. If you are a Grade 9 Ref wanting to upgrade to a Grade 8 Ref and are at least 12 years in age, you may attend. For those who have lapsed in Grade, please contact the State Registrar for verification (Coloradoregistrar@coreferees.org).
There will be no WALK UP allowed.
Bring Lunch, snacks and drinks. Dress appropriately with running shoes for the field session. Please bring paper, pencil and a pen.
